I guess I have been a bit spoiled lately. … I forgot how bad racing can hurt when you just are not “on”. I really hope that is the last bad day for a while! Still second overall, with plenty of time for a recharged second half of the season.
Monday after the race I spent the day at the Roomers hotel in Frankfurt shooting the 2011 Cyclepassion calendar. 12 hours of work later it was a wrap at 1:30 am. Modeling IS hard! I feel like I had a 12 hour pilates session from all the flexing, twisting and posing. It is going to be great though, and so worth it!
I just woke up and overdosed on caffeine, so that should give me enough energy to do the laundry, shop for food, pay the bills, finish some real estate business and maybe get a ride in. Then Friday I am off to Texas for the last race before I take two weeks off the bike. The sun is out in Durango, and an afternoon on the patio might be in order! Thanks for the support through the not so great weekends, that actually matters the most!

Every once in a while you will get a race that you just wish you could take back, of course you cant. Every race is an experience, and If you learned one things from that experience it’s one more thing you now know. Look back , ask yourself was there something that i did that could have made a difference ? Everyone puts there shorts on same as you, it’s just who is prepared to suffer more that day will win. Now go ride

From an old “base supporter” or yours……you’ve always got it! Enjoy your 2 weeks -

Hi Willow,
You can’t have it all.Sometimes shit happens but I know you’ll do great on the next round and take the lead again when you need to.
It counts at the end of the season,so you still have some time left.
Enjoy your days off and give me a shout when the calender is out,so I can get me one

You are amazing Willow, and such an inspiration to me. I’m sending super-energy and centeredness vibrations your way. I hope you can see Jack and Andy in Austin. Love you!

I doubt Luna will be able to pull that trick twice in a row, and your within easy striking distance. You and Heather can work em over in Champery. Stay on your bike and I think you will take it back.
